Supporters and children from the community had a fabulous day making arts and crafts, visiting with Santa, watching ice skaters perform to holiday classics and bidding on great auction items. On Thursday April 6, Fox & Roach charities raffled a “Paid Day Off” to benefit the SSK at the Fox & Roach/Trident’s Employee Recognition day. We raised over $2,500 in 3 hours. The winner of the paid day off was Lauren Bowen of Processor, NJ.

Rain could not dampen the spirits of the golfers who participated in the Craig Biggio Sunshine Kids Celebrity Golf Classic hosted by Houston Astros star Craig Biggio with presenting sponsors Prudential Gary Greene Realtors, Retriever Payment Systems and First American Title Company in Houston, Texas. This two day event featured a fantastic gala featuring live and silent auction items, food and dancing. The second day golfers braved the elements of a rain soaked course to come together for a day of golf with celebrities from the community. “We would to thank everyone who participated in helping to make this gala and golf tournament a huge success! The Kids have touched all our hearts and have made this annual event an opportunity to help all these kids with cancer,” said Mark Woodroof and Marilyn Eiland, owners of Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors.

Prudential Fox & Roach hosted a historical day in the city of Philadelphia. While the Kids were on the Summer Broadway Break in New York, they took a detour to Philadelphia with stops at the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. They also had the opportunity to feast on the famous Philly cheese steaks!

Prudential Georgia Realty’s Ticket To Ride Horse Show
This year’s 2nd Annual Ticket To Ride Show was a huge success! Robert Aiken, Broker of Prudential Georgia Realty’s Dahlonega offices and his committee put together an amazing weekend of events to raise money for the SSK. The show featured an Equitation Clinic, and a Tahitian themed dinner which included a Calcutta, silent auction items and the Big Dollar Jumper Relay. Comedian Jeff Foxworthy was the events Celebrity Spokesperson and helped to get the word out in the community about the show. |
